MSc (Speech and Language Pathology), NUS
The Master of Science (Speech and Language Pathology) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) was established in 2007 as the first professional training programme for Speech and Language Therapists in Singapore. It is a 2-year full-time programme administered by the Division of Graduate Studies, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and fully accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council, Singapore.
Currently in its 20th year, the MSc (Speech and Language Pathology) is a well-established professional programme known for its rigorous training that combines strong academic grounding, practice-based clinical placements, and active engagement in research. Students are equipped with core competencies across the full spectrum of communication and swallowing disorders. Alumni serve diverse communities in healthcare, education, and social service sectors, with many now holding leadership positions in the field. The programme is further distinguished by its research strengths, including a focus on bilingual and multilingual language assessments that are widely used in clinical practice.
Admission is highly competitive. Annual intakes are relatively small (30+ per cohort), allowing close supervision and clinical mentorship. Each cohort typically comprises a mix of fresh graduates and mid-career professionals from diverse academic backgrounds, including international candidates.
The programme's vision is to build a professional community of highly competent and compassionate clinicians who will deliver effective speech therapy services and advance practice across healthcare, educational, and community settings.
MSc (Audiology), NUS
The Master of Science (Audiology) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is Singapore's premier graduate-entry programme dedicated to educating the next generation of audiologists.
